My Mother and I have been getting more and more involved in our local pregnancy center. There is one in St. Helens (a city about 45 minutes from us) and the CPC really wants to open/start one up here in Rainier!! Mother and I are really, really excited about this opportunity! We are volunteering as - Mother: counsellor and I: will most likely be able to be the/a receptionist. BUT, we need a LOT of donations before we can really get the Rainier PRC started. We need material and financial donations. If any of you would be willing to help out a little (don't be wondering how you can send stuff to us if you live out of state - there's always the Post Office! :), it would be SO appreciated!! This is wonderful! I am considering going into social work as my major and if I did I would want to work with a pregnancy center or adoption agency (being adopted myself I have alwasy wanted to "give back" in some kind of way.) I think helping to give a baby the chance to live is one of the best things anybody can do! I wish I had some money to offer you, but my prayers will have to be all for right now. :-)
