I have this really, really weird tendency to associate foods with movies/books. Yeah...weird. VERY weird...and if you haven't been reading my blog for very long, let me just tell you straight up, that I am a very weird person. THIS is one of those weird quirks that I have! So...yeah...enjoy reading! :D
Movie: Pride and Prejudice – Food: apples and brie cheese
This is one of my Mama's favorite snacks...and we were watching P&P...
Movie: Indiana Jones – Food: green beans
So I was making dinner in the kitchen and going back and forth from the kitchen to the living room while Dad and my brother were watching this...and I was making green beans, amongst other dinner platters...and grabbed a handful and went to sit and watch for a little while...yeah...
Movie: Get Smart (TV series) – Food/Drink: orange juice
Yeah, I was just making some orange juice while watching this...and drank it.
Movie: Sabrina (1995 with Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond) – Food: cheesecake
I had a friend of mine over and we were watching this in my room with Mama...and had leftover cheesecake (I think it was on my birthday!)...Do you remember, Teresa? ;)
Movie: Sense and Sensibility (2008) – Food: chocolate chip cookies
My sweet cousin was over and we made a huge batch of yummy chocolate chip cookies!! And watched S&S :) Love you, Hani!
Movie: Lord of the Rings – Food: pop corn
We watched this at our friends' house and their sweet mom made us pop corn to watch while we ate...that just stuck with me.
Movie: The Fugitive (OLD TV series) – Food: apples with sweetened condensed milk
I was just craving that for some reason...
Movie: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - Food: Junior Mints
When Noah and I went to watch the new Narnia movie (IN THEATERS!), we went with our uncle...and he bought me some junior mints before we took our seats...so yeah. Eating sweets, while watching a sweet movie, with a sweet person in it! :D *haha* ;)
Anyway...yeah, so now it is totally official that I.am.weird.

I've a pretty good memory, so yes, I usually do remember what I was eating when a certain movie was playing. =)
I have a lot of quirks that I do, but for whatever reason I've blanked out on them right now...
I totally agree with you about P&P, Get Smart, Sabrina, LOTR, and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader! :) I tend to associate food with movies too! Although usually it’s chocolate I’m thinking of lol… Though I always though Sense and Sensibility would go well with peaches :)

haha, i don't tend to associate food with movies and books, but i do point out people that remind of characters. like, there's this girl that goes to my school and she looks exactly like the main girl in the movie "push"! :)

Okay, that's not TOO weird. ;)
One of my quirks is that I associate people, places, etc. with music. Different songs remind me of different things. Oh, and so do smells. :) Weird, huh?

I like drinking pop when I watch movies
Haha... well, I don't associate foods with movies, but lots of times when I watch movies or read books I'm imagining a different story for the entire time I'm watching or reading... and afterwards remember everything about my own story and the movie or book. And I always think of both stories together.

Lily- I do that too and I never told anyone until now. Whenever I go on vacation I feel like listening to certain music that I associate with that place.
No, you're not weird. In my mind food and movies always go together! Popcorn and candy are the best, but tea and hot cocoa are also great. Some movies I'm used to watching while my family eats dinner (like nachos or mac & cheese) in the living room.
For me it's often smells that are associated with music. I have one perfume that when I put it on I always think of Lord of the Rings because I was listening to the audio book of Return of the King when I put that perfume on once.
Some associations may seem silly but it's just out brain and senses in perfect working order! :)

Hmmm..weird/unique quirks....would have to be sword-fighting and sparring with nothing...kind od like shadow boxing, but not... :P
I totally associate smells with things... if I wear certain lotion I always think of that one day... that sort of thing. Also, if I'm drawing during a movie, whenever I look at it, I think of the different parts that were happening when I was drawing the nose, etc. :)
