My fellow blogger (and friend in real life! :D), Lucia (From Under My Little Umbrella), and I had the same idea to host a photography contest...and just decided to go ahead and do it together. :) haha But we wanted to make it something just...super cool. Not just any ordinary contest. We wanted to make it special...unique. We wanted to find amazing prizes to award the well-chosen winners. We wanted to choose winners not just by quality of photo, but of creative and imaginary dispositions. Thus, after much thought and consideration, we are happy to announce that from today, the 9th, until the 23rd of May, Lucia from From Under My Little Umbrella and my own God's Daughter will be joint hosting:
Details:
Theme: Shadows and silhouettes. Any shadow, silhouette you can find out there! The more unique the better. :)
Examples: A cowboy's silhouette, a couple kissing behind something, the shadow of a ballerina, a candle's shadow...
Prizes: The entries will be judged by Lucia, myself, and perhaps some family members/friends according not just to photo quality, but to uniqueness. There will be first and place prizes awarded, with more masculine prizes available should a winner be a guy. :) We are still working on the 'prize' aspect, but here is one lovely that will be available for a female winner:

Don't have a blog? You may e-mail us your entries at miss.raquel316@gmail.com OR lmmorud@gmail.com with "Photo Contest!" as the subject line. However, please e-mail at least three friends about the contest, since you are unable to use the button.

I've entered a photo, but I did want to make something clear; I don't have Google account, I blog using Wordpress, but I do follow both your blogs (and, come to think of it, there is proof; I signed her guestbook and I have left a couple comments on your blog before as well). I hope following without having to join Google still counts. :) Just wanted to clarify and if it doesn't count, then I will step out. Hope to hear from you soon.
