1)   What are your thoughts on modesty?
Modesty is important because it helps guard our hearts from temptation.

2)   Some of us feel that we either give too much effort, or not enough, in worrying about the way we dress.  What is your suggestion to how you wish girls would dress?  What do you like to see girls wearing?
Well, it's not wrong for girls to be very concerned about dressing beautifully. It's perfectly natural and good for girls to be concerned to look beautiful. God made them beautiful and it gives God glory that women are beautiful just as it glorifies God that flowers are beautiful. However, there is a line between a girl dressing up and enjoying her God given beauty - and a girl dressing up with the purpose of causing men to stumble.

3)   How do you feel about girls wearing makeup?
Some girls need it, some girls don't :)

4)   A lot of girls worry about looking chic around guys…but what do you consider pretty?
I'm pretty open-minded so I can't come up with a one type answer. Though, I must say that it's nice when girls take good care of their hair, it's a wonderful adornment that God has given them.

5)   Do guys ever notice changes in girls?  Hair styles, clothes, etc.?
In reality, men tend to notice changes in girls if there is a certain interest in the girl. If a guy is not interested in a girl, she can dye her hair, cut her hair, etc and they will never notice anything.

6)   What is something that you want/look for, the most, in your future wife?
Humility in continually recognizing her sins and running to the cross, no matter how wonderful she appears to be.

7)   Do you often feel peer pressure from your friends?  In any way, but mostly in the standards that you have set for your life.
I feel a good healthy pressure of accountability from my friends to live up to what I believe in. Godly friends are a blessing from God.

8)   What do you consider flirting and what do you think of a girl when she flirts with you?
Wow that's a hard one because we guys sometimes make the error of mistaking flirting when a girl is simply being friendly. I guess flirting is when a girl gives more than normal attention to a guy and that is evidenced in the way she looks at him and talks to him for longer periods of time than other guys.

9)   How do you feel about dating?
I used to believe that dating was wrong until I realized that it really depends on the couple's circumstances (age, family, church).  After realizing that many people were taking courtship too strictly, Joshua Harris admitted in the sermon "Courtship Schmourtship" that dating may work for some and may not work for others. I now believe that dating is ok if both are mentally and spiritually mature enough to handle it.

10)                      When you’re interested in a girl, do you focus on her family too?  Do you make it a point to get to know them as much as you want to get to know her?
Yes, absolutely. I may be seeing these folks for the rest of my life, too.

11)                      What is your view on college for girls?
          Wow that's a tough topic. ;)

12)                      What is your dream job?  And why?
Getting paid to write music!!! I love music!!!

    13)                      What do you think the man’s role is in the home – compared to the woman’s?
The man's role in the home is to be the leader, the one who sets the spiritual temperature of the home.

    14)                      How many kids would you like to have?
As many as God gives me :)

    15)                      A lot of guys like using sarcasm around girls…do you know why that is?
It's a way to flirt sometimes.

    16)                      Do guys like it when girls are tomboyish or more girlie?
Definitely more girlie. Feminine grace is wonderful and glorifies God. It's a sweet contrast to our manliness.

17)                      Is there anything that you would appreciate girls doing differently in order to help you maintain your purity?
Realize that men are by nature sinners and be sensitive to that when dressing.

18)                      What do you think about guys and girls hugging?
It depends on the couple. If both can remain pure in hugging then by all means.

19)                      When do you plan to have your first kiss?
Wow, that really depends on many factors, especially what the girl's convictions are regarding that.

20)                      How will you respond if God's plan is out of sync with your own?
Hopefully as Jesus did: "Thy will be done not mine."

21)                      What do you think of girls posting pictures of guys on their blog?
I guess it depends on what they are posting them for.

22)                      Do you guys sometimes get weirded out by being friends with girls?
Not really, it's a good way to get to know girls very well. Relationships should start out with a good friendship.

23)                      What is one thing that girls do that you hate?
Flirting with a guy that they are not interested in and the poor guy is led on.

24)                      To what degree should a guy and girl just 'be friends'?
To the degree that they don't give more attention to each other than they would to other friends of the opposite sex.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this interview, Nathan!!  Stay strong.  God bless!
