All About Narnia Actors...

So...I had this really sweet girl comment on my last post, and she suggested that I write about the Narnia actors and...all about them. :)  She saw how much I loved Narnia (and she does too!).
So, this post is for Bethany Ann. :)

I'm just gonna go in age order of the Narnia characters...or at least, their appearance in the movies. :)

William Peter Moseley

Birthday: April 21, 1987 (oh yeah!  April baby - ::high five::!)

Hometown: Sheepscombe, Gloucestershire, England

Height: 5' 10"
Nickname: Wizzle
Parents: Peter Moseley and Julie Flemming
(His father is a cinematographer)

Siblings: Daisy and Ben (both younger)

---

Fun Trivia Facts:
He was recommended as Peter Pevensie, by casting director: Pippa Hall.

This is my version of the pic above ^ :)
It took eighteen months after his auditioning for Peter Pevensie, before he officially won the role and was cast.

He auditioned as Harry Potter, but was unsuccessful.

He grew 3 inches during the filming period of 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe'.

A Personal Quote:

'That's a good question. Actually no. Surprising enough we kept a boundary. There is a fine line as you've probably seen and we didn't overstep that mark. Yes, we're still very good platonic friends. We'll leave it at that.' - When asked about his relationship with Anna Popplewell.

~*~
Anna Katherine Popplewell

Birthday: December 16th, 1988

Hometown: London, England

Height: 5' 3 1/2" (I'm taller :) heehee)

Siblings: Older sister of Freddie Popplewell and Lulu Popplwell

---

Fun Trivia Facts:

Lives around the corner from Narnia actor, Skandar Keynes.

My version of the photo above ^ :)

Kept a journal during the filming of the first Narnia movie, which was later published in a book about the making of the movie.

Failed her first driving test in 2006.

Performed her first screen kiss in Prince Caspian, with Ben Barnes.

Auditioned for the part of Wendy Darling in Peter Pan (2003) but lost to Rachel Hurd-Wood.  It was through her auditioning that her brother, Freddie, got a role in the film.

A Personal Quote:

"I can relate to Susan. She thinks in terms of practicality. There are certain areas where we're very similar and certain areas where we're not. I feel very defensive of her. If anyone accuses Susan of being an outright cynic, I'll say, 'No, she's not. There's a perfectly logical explanation for it all. Don't talk about her like that!'" (on her character, Susan Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia)
~*~
Alexander Amin Casper Keynes

Birthday: September 5th, 1991

Hometown: London, England

Height: 5' 8"
Parents: Randal Keynes and Zelfa Cecil Hourani

(His father is a writer and through him, Skandar is Charles Darwin's great-great-great grandson)
Siblings: older sister - Souyama

---

Fun Trivia Facts:

He grew 6 1/2 inches while filming 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe'.  His armor had to be re-fitted weekly.
Studies tae kwon do.
Plays the cornet and flute.

My version of the photo above ^ :)
He was trained to sword fight by sword trainer Allan Poppleton while working on the film The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and also learned to ride a horse.

Personal Quote:

"When I first met Georgie, she was very eager to talk. Georgie is great. She's small and hilarious. To laugh at. I mean with - to laugh with."

~*~

Georgie Laura Henley

Birthday: July 9th, 1995

Hometown: Ilkey, Yorkshire, England

Height: 5' 4"

Parents: Mike and Helen Henley

Siblings: older sisters - Rachael Henley and Laura Henley

---

Fun Trivia Facts:

As a thank you gift for being in his movie, Andrew Adamson gave each of the children an iPod. When Georgie got hers she thanked him whole-heartedly, but once he was out of earshot she turned to her mother and said, "What is it?"
Her older sister, Rachael, played the older Lucy in the ending of 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe'.

Personal Quote:

Lucy is quite a lot like me in a way so it was very easy to slip into her character. Lucy's the youngest of the four Pevensies and nobody takes her opinions seriously as the story begins. When she opens this wardrobe, she's in a new world and she feels as though her feelings mean something there. (Narnia production notes)
~*~
 Benjamin Thomas Barnes

Birthday: August 20th, 1981

Hometown: London, England

Height: 6' 1"

Nickname: B-Squared

Parents: (their names are unknown)
His father is a psychiatrist and his mother is a therapist.

Siblings: younger brother - Jack

---

Fun Trivia Facts:

He can also sing, play drums and piano.
My version of the one above ^ ;)
Wore hair extensions for the role of Prince Caspian.

He can also sing, play drums and piano.
He is widely known as Bin Bons on the Internet.
Said that he based his Prince Caspian accent on that of Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride (1987) because the night before auditions, he was sorting through his DVD collection trying to find something to help him.

Personal Quote:

My favorite one to eat pizza with is Anna [Popplewell]. My favorite one to go to the gym with is William [Moseley]. My favorite one to mock and be mocked by is Skandar [Keynes] and my favorite one to hug is Georgie [Henley].
~*~

 William Jack Poulter

 Birthday: January 28th, 1993

Hometown: Hammersmith, London, England

Height: 5' 11"

Parents: I couldn't find out their names : /

Siblings: 1 brother, 2 sisters

---

Fun Trivia Facts:

He loves acting, and playing football.

Is good friends with his Narnia co-star Ben Barnes.
Stated in an interview that his favorite film is Stand by me.

 Personal Quote:
'I asked if I could keep Ben, but his agent told me to go away.'

Loved this post! I think the funnest facts were: finding out Georgie's sister played grown up Lucy, Anna living down the street from Skandar, Ben basing the accent off of Inigo Montoya( I loved his character!!!!!!!!!!!) and that all of them were normal or short...except for Ben :) Your taller than me too! Hey I'm writing a short paper on Oregon other than the fact that it is so beautiful, has awesome people like yourself living there what is an interesting fact? Sierra

Wow! Charles Darwin would've probably died of shame if he'd known his great-great-great grandson would be staring in a future movie which would promote the view of creation! lol! :D

beautiful drawings, especially the one of Susan

I liked your drawings!

Several Narnia fans whom we are friends with who know my older sister say she looks like Anna Popplewell! But then, it might be the English background. I've seen several English girls who look like that.
I never saw the movies (I don't like fantasy) but I'm a fan of the costumes! And the photographs of ''Susan'' and ''Peter'' and ''Lucy''.

That's neat that they used Georgie's older sister for her when she's older!
