I saw this movie with my cousin and a batch of her girlfriends. (I talk about them as cookies...they're all so sweet :)
We were laughing hysterically throughout the whole thing. The guys in the other room were like 'whu??' haha

Isla Fisher as...
Rebecca Bloomwood
Okay, Isla reminds me SO much of Amy Adams, it's not even funny! Seriously, I just kept seeing Amy on the screen!
Personally, though...I like Isla's facial features better. Even though they do look a lot alike, Isla is just cuter. :) (I really like her name too!)
This movie was a little hard for me to like, because I really dislike the ditzy blondes (well, in this case 'reddish blonde'). They really...annoy me. :/
But I found myself laughing constantly and just...falling in love with the storyline. I know that it's really true (for a lot of women in today's culture), and that saddened me. But, it was good movie. :) And it had a good ending :)
There are some ridiculous outfits in this movie too! haha But I fell in love with two of them.
This one ^
And this one ^
I want to twirl around on the street in that skirt.
End of story.
Hugh Dancy as...
Luke Brandon
Okay, I'm gonna be honest here...
It was really hard for me to like Luke, because honestly...Hugh just isn't that attractive-looking. (Plus his name is Hugh, which reminds me too much of Hugh Grant. Very bothering!!)
But this movie gave a perfect example of looks not being everything.
Even though his face kinda bothered me sometimes, his character was the SWEETEST!!
Okay, I admit that's a cute face ^ :)
Krysten Ritter as...
Suze
This girl CRACKED ME UP!! You know how every movie has to have that one super funny person. Suze was that person. :) I think she was a really good friend to Rebecca, but...maybe she just needed to put her foot down a little harder and more often.
I liked her, though.
I've seen her in another movie...uh...what was it?...Bride Wars! That's it! She only plays a small part, but...she's in there. :)
(I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of the right movie...)
I liked the color of her dress here ^, I just wish it was a bit more modest. :/
Her very office-style-but-cute-and-chic outfit ^.
And of course, the kiss! And LOOK!! She's wearing the skirt that I like!! :D
I love her hair here ^ too!
To close, I will say that it wasn't my favorite chic flick, and it's not a movie that I'd be like 'You have GOT to see this!!', but...it was good. And sweet. And I did like it. :)
Have you seen Confessions of a Shopaholic?

9 of your thoughts:
I've never seen this, but I've ALWAYS eever since it came out, thought that that was Amy Adams. Woah...
Yes, I've watched it twice actually. While I think it's a cute movie the only real draw for me was that I got to see Hugh Dancy in a film for two hours...can't beat that! ;) So here's the part where I disagree with your review...gasp, I know. I think Hugh Dancy is SUPER ATTRACTIVE! There I said it. The End.
Oh my beet cake I loved this movie!! And you're not the only one. For half the movie I swore that was Amy Adams. And then I paused and did an IMDB search. I'm a movie nerd. Moving on....
I quiet like Hugh Dancy. Though he's not that good looking, he's attractive enough for me to want to be Isla in the kiss scene :P No, I'm kidding.
But it was a cute movie! :))

I've seen this movie and I LOVE it! Its so funny! I mean, yes there are some parts that I do not like (mostly the language and some other scenes) but overall it is an extremly cute movie
I loved this movie! You don't find very clean ones these days, and I loved how clean this one was, along with the humour in it. I loved the two main characters! I thought they were both so sweet. :D
I've seen it & loved it! (: It was super cute. It's nothing like Sweet Home Alabama or Walk the Line or any of those movies you'd wanna watch over and over... but cute, none the less <3
I haven't seen this film but I want to because it does look funny and interesting.
Isla Fisher does have a nice name not sure if I'd like her more than Amy Adams even though they do look so much alike. :)
And Hugh Dancy must be an acquired taste because I think he's not only adorable but quite handsome. I've liked him ever since seeing him as Daniel Deronda and then as David Copperfield. He's quite charming but in roles as Americans it is a bit odd to hear him try to drop his charming British accent. I can't remember if he plays and American in this film. Love that photo of his "cute face"! ;)
LOVE, LOVE this movie; so sweet! I actually do own it. You've reminded to watch it again and maybe in the next couple weeks, I'll get my review posted. Hugh Dancy is officially one of my favorite leading men. =D
I actually love this movie. :) Some things are..questionable, o' course (like how Suze lived with her boyfriend, etc.), but overall it was a cute plot. :) Ad I dn't think the guy is bad looking at all! Poor fella--give him a break! ;) I thought he was great.
