So…I’m not a huge fan of superstitious, fanciful rumors – such as throwing salt over your left shoulder for good luck, or that it’s bad luck to walk under a ladder.
BUT…I kind of like the cute, unique ones. :) Not that I believe that they’re necessarily true. First of all, I don’t believe in luck. And secondly, I don’t think you have to do things to gain ‘luck’. But, there are a couple wish-making ‘techniques’ that have just stuck with me, ever since I heard them from who-knows-who.
Necklace Clasp Wish –
This wish-making is done when your necklace clasp is not at the back of your neck (where it should be). So when you are turning your necklace back, you make a wish (before the clasp is back at the nape of your neck).
Truck Full of Hay Bales Wish –
This wish-making is done whenever you see a truck hauling hay bales. You make a wish as it passes you, and don’t look back over your shoulder
Make a Wish and Hold Your Breath –
This wish-making is done before you enter a tunnel. When you’re approaching one, you make a wish, then hold your breath as you go through the tunnel and your wish ‘will come true’.

I have never heard about the hay bale truck or the necklace clasp, but my brothers and sisters use to do the tunnel one. It was especially challenging when we came to a long tunnel! ;)
I love the tunnel and necklace clasp wish. That continually happens with my necklace.I'll have to do that next time *wink* I don't have any unique ones. Haven't heard any...just the star one that everyone does. Oh well. I loved these though! Sierra

I like when Peggy punches the guy right in the gut! She is one tough chick. Don't mess with her. What a great role model for our girls--a woman who doesn't take abuse or garbage.
I've done the necklace and tunnel ones, but I've never heard of the hay bales... and I pretty much stopped doing the tunnel one once I started driving... I didn't want to pass out! ;)
I've never heard of any of these but I've heard that when an eyelash falls out you put it on your thumb and make a wish and blow it off.
