It's Called an iPad 2

Do you remember me posting about Francesca Battistelli??  She was having a promotional contest, asking people to promote and advertise her and her music. 

So I did.

I posted on Facebook.  E-mailed about 200 friends.  Posted about it here on God's Daughter.

And just last week, I got an e-mail say, 'You won Francesca Battistelli's promotional contest!  Your prize is an iPad 2.  Please e-mail me with your mailing info.'

::chin hit the floor::

I thought it was a joke, at first.  I mean there are so many spam people going around out there looking for people (like me!) who had entered some sort of contest, and then e-mailing (and freaking them out!!) by saying that they had won.

But I wrote the guy back (he sounded legit...Adam something-or-other...he had an address and phone number following his name, etc.) and gave him my address.

Then, this last weekend, while I was gone at my friend's house, my Mama called me on my cell and said.

'Where's the at iPad coming from??'

'Nashville, Tennessee!' I practically screamed back.

'Well, it's here!  Can I open it?'

'No!!!  Bring it on Sunday when you pick me up!'

So she did.  I had to have someone to squeal at, and a friend of mine came out to the parking lot with me. :D haha

And so...I am now the proud owner of an Apple iPad 2.
