Isn't this poster just, like... ::clears throat:: ...very cool??
:)
I got to see this movie at a late showing with some friends of mine, and my bro.
I cannot, for the life of me, pick a favorite between this one and the first.
Well, as you all know (or should know ;) the names of the actors who are Holmes and Watson, etc...I see no need to introduce them.
But if you really must know... ;)
Robert Downey Jr......Sherlock Holmes
Jude Law......Dr. Watson
---
But let me introduce some new characters to you now...
Noomi Rapace as...
Simka
Isn't that a cool name??
She's a gypsy, by the way.
And I really, really, really like her!!
She's very down to earth, very feminine, but courageous at the same time - as women should be. :P
She has really cool hair too!
---
Jared Harris as...
Moriarty
Needless to say, he's ^ the 'bad guy'. :P
As always, Law and Downey worked together splendidly!

Pretty creepy.
Good actor, though! He really made me...dislike him, you know?
And I'm very excited to hear that he's going to be playing Captain Ulysses S. Grant in the new 'Lincoln' movie that's coming out!!

GREAT pic ^
But no, there's no love interest between them...
haha!
Yes, yes!! They finally get married and the wedding (or at least part of it) is in the film!
Aren't they adorable?
Holmes doesn't look that bad either :P
Mary is the best.

Much less 'magic' in this one than in the first one.
And actually, it was so intense and so filled with information that I was a bit confused by the end of it...
All I knew was that I loved it
I couldn't pick a favorite between the 2
and
that I would need to see it again, to fully comprehend the story. haha
Which I plan to do as soon as it comes out on DVD ;)
IF I don't go see it in theaters again...
---
Oh! Just had to add this pic ^ ;)
Robert and Susan Downey Jr.
Adorable.

Update:
I did see this movie for the second time (in theaters - with friends - again! ;)...I was able to comprehend it a bit more, and would heartily recommend you to watch it twice.

10 of your thoughts:
my two older bros and I saw this on Christmas Day.... AWESOMEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loooooved it! Bahahahaha, the wedding was sooo funny- Holmes and Watson looked like they were about to die. And the end was so funny! I'm planning on doing a review soon, I'll let you know.
Oh, and I loved the gypsy lady (I just forgot her name). She was so pretty!
I haven't seen this one yet... It should be good. I just recently went to see Tintin in theater. I'd love to see that movie reviewed here if at all possible..
I can't decide which movie was my favorite. The really liked the costuming in the second one. I didn't like the scene that used Tarrot cards and the scene were Holmes' brother was nude (but at least it didn't show any nudity). Simka wasn't my favorite character. Moriarty is just down right creepy (but he was a good actor and perfect for the roll). I love Mary's character. So sweet! I think if I had to say a favorite I would say the second one. I'm so glad I got to see it in the theater. It was so much fun!
I REALLY want to see it!!!! i heart Sherlock Holmes :)
LOVED this one. Glad to read that you did too, Raquel. ;D I cannot decide which I liked best but this one (sequel) was much more intense. Great acting and story though - Harris was super creepy at the bad dude, which was just what the role needed, I think. ;D
I actually just watched the first one again on TV last week and it got me wanting to go see this one!! :)
Did you know that the 29th was Jude Law's Birthday?
Me and my brother want go see this movie sooooooooooo bad!!!!!
It looks awesome!!!
i REALLY wanna see that movie!! :)
