It's called a 'Resolution List'...

{I though this is soo cute!  I wanna try making one!}

So...I've never really been serious about resolution lists for the new year(s).

But this year, I thought it would be fun to make a fairly length one and to share it with my blog readers.

Not that you really care, but...just for the fun of it ;)

{This ^ should be every day...}

Oh, and by the way...this list isn't necessarily in any order. :)

  1. Draw closer to my LORD and Savior.  Keep Him first in everything I do. (I want to try keeping a journal of my relationship with Him, and by the end of this year, to look back on it and see how much I've grown.)
  2. Make a music video.
  3. Start journaling again.
  4. Read at least 52 books.
  5. Plant an herb garden.
  6. Work at photography.
  7. Ride Knight at the beach. :)
  8. Work on my non-fictional book (yes!!  Aren't you excited?? ;)
  9. Go to at least 5 dances (I went to 7 or 8 this year!...actually, probably more :P heehee)
  10. Commit 52 verses to memory.
  11. Treat a friend out to a movie.
  12. Stop talking so much. (I actually stole this from a friend of mine...heehee)
  13. Be a better daughter, sister and friend.
  14. Spend some great times hanging out with friends. (This won't be a very hard thing to resolve...all of my friends are so cool, it's hard NOT to have a great time when I'm around them ;)
  15. Buy something from Etsy.
  16. Repaint my room.
  17. Work on my second novel.
{I think I have successfully managed to do this ^ every year!}

Oh and yes...so far I only have 17 resolutions on my list.  As I add to it (or at least, I *think* I'm going to...), I will keep you updated! ;)

So how did you celebrate the New Year??
What are some resolutions on your list?

I was actually able to post my main two resolutions on my blog if you want to check them out :) I love your list! I like how they are all something that you, and almost anyone else, could try to complete! Lists that have insane goals drive me nuts. Yours is down-to-earth, and that's what I like about it :)

Hello Miss R. Found your blog through looking at the blogs that a friend follows.

You have some fun resolutions! :-D

What kind of books are you wanting to read over the next year?

You asked a question at the end of your post... to which my best reply is probably a link to my New Year's post.

Definitely to try and finish at least a rough draft of my novel(and wow a non-fiction!!!!!!! Good for you!), be nicer (if that is really possible...JK), read some non-fiction, write more songs and...keep learning about God. Sierra

Very good list! They are probable resolutions and sound very exciting! I didn't think to set a goal of books to read this year...my bad.

I'll try to keep it anyway. I'm thinking 30 books. Not as many as you, but I really don't read THAT often.

You had suggested we go see Tin Tin....challenge accepted. We can accomplish ONE of your resolutions in a snap! Just say the word and we'll go!

I didn't really make any resolutions this year, but I would really like to become a healthier person, be kinder and become a really amazing seamstress and photographer...really random, I know=/
Anyways...I love your list:)
