Dear Jesus, Dear Husband...

Dear Jesus,

Our culture made today the official 'love' day.  It's a day where we are supposed to tell/show our 'significant other' how much we love them - through a box of chocolates, a heart balloon or a candlelit dinner date.

I have been thinking, these past few days, how I don't have someone special to do all those romantic things with.  Sometimes I feel lonely, while seeing some of my friends with their boyfriend/girlfriend(s).

But, Jesus, I stopped and realized something...

YOU are the best Valentine's I could ever have...

And I have had you since before the foundation of the world.

I can't give you a box of chocolates...a heart balloon...or go out to dinner with you.

But I can give you something that I have never - and will never - give to anyone else.

My life.

In your Word, you tell us that the greatest love a man can show is to lay down his life for his friend.

What better place to put my life, than in the hands of the One who gave His life for me?

I love you, Jesus.

Dear Hubby,

I may not know who you are.

I wish I knew who you were so I could give you something...special.

But until I do, just remember that I pray for you every day.
