***While these are only meant to be taken as suggestions, please do not feel that they are 'rules'***
A lady...
· Possesses a gentle and quiet spirit.

· Never speaks of inappropriate subjects in front of a gentleman.

I am sure I could've come up with some more! :/

12 of your thoughts:
These are all great rules! How about "Your dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman, but loose enough to show you're a lady." ...Wait, I think I've already shared that one with you. Whatever ;)
Hi Raquel!
This is really helpful. :) I like having things like this in a list, in order. It helps me remember and apply them better, you know?
All very true!
God bless you!
Joy :D
I really like this list! I only disagree with one of these suggestions: always waiting for the guy to introduce himself first. While I definitely prefer if he does, and I think we ought to give them a chance to do so, many times guys just won't, and ladies need to know how to do this in a ladylike, Christ-honoring way. I have certainly seen this done wrongly and that can be just dreadful, but there are ways for a woman to introduce herself that don't seem forward or unladylike at all.
I am not certain I agree with all of them, but you had some wonderful ones here!
Good job :)
Love this, Raquel. Perfect! :)
Great Rules! Very helpful! Nice job:)
I really like the one about including outsiders and the one about respecting other's opinions. I try really hard on both of those, because it really fries me when I see people left out or people mocking other's opinions or not respecting others.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the "Look up when you walk. A lady faces the world head on." picture. Gah. Seriously love that one.
And that first picture is kinda making my mushy gushy. Eep.
Loved this post!!
I would love to know which ones Bekah didn't agree with?
My favorite is the "#17 rule of a lady"!!! Lol! So funny!
Great job, baby. Love you.
This was very interesting, and I mostly agree with what you said here.
Oh goodness! I hug my boyfriend without him first initiating all the time! I must not be a lady!
haha oh goodness, Amachka! No, honey, of course you can hug your boyfriend :) I was definitely NOT including boyfriends when I said that! I'm referring more towards guys in general. A guy you just met, perhaps...or even a friend. Guys may not be comfortable with girls hugging them, so it's usually best to just let THEM be the one to step towards you. Know what I mean? :)
Wonderful post! I'm what you'd call "a hugger", and unfortunately this has caused some confusion among my guy friends. They think it means I'm interested in them romantically. It's definitely something I need to work on, and I see some others on this list that I could take to practice as well. Awesome job making the list! Very eye opening. :)
