..thanks babe! and oh my word--seriously?! those things are like..mega bucks! are you really buying one for $2000?? or is it a different one I am confusing it with? just FYI, you can usually get the same quality lens for $300-$500, if you go off-brand, like, Sigma. I still have my stock lens--I am saving up for a 50-mm 1.4 [heard it's the best portrait lens out there, and I am looking into going into photography as a serious hobby but I don't have mega bucks to spend]..it's not the lens that makes you a better photographer, though, so that's what's comforting me as I get frustrated with the limits of my 18-55. I just keep think "use this time as extra practice time.".
..but. I shall get an upgrade in the near future, I am positive [once I save up another 200 bucks or so].
but wowee! that's quite a lens! haha ..yes, you'll have to update me! and tell me how you are managing to purchase such a big thang. ;) I wanna know!
xo, lucia
ps- nope, not done my shoots yet..i'm waiting to purchase my new lens. i am NOT shooting a paid photo shoot with my 18-55. no matter how good of practice it would be. ;)
