I am finally back!! Nope, didn't die! ;) Just went on a week-long trip to California...got back last Thursday, had one hour to shower and change the clothes in my backpack before heading up to...Seattle for the Christian Heritage Conference. I didn't know my body could handle that much time in the car. Seriously. :P
I am spacing the photos from my trip into TWO posts. I just took SO many and...there is so much to show and tell that... ::sighs:: I need post little by little...
Before anyone comments and asks, let me just answer :P We went to California to visit an aunt and uncle who recently moved back down there. They bought a lovely house and yes, it did fit our whole family ;) Well, actually, it wasn't our whole family...Noah stayed home. It was hard not having my bro along. :( But he told me to have a good time, so...I tried to ;)
My sisters (and little bro ;) had a fabulous time at the park down the road from my aunt and uncle's...
Yes, I have a very cute little brother ;)
It'd be crazy to go through each day that I was down there and tell you about every little detail, so I'm just going to cruise through them...and of course, show you pictures ;)
My aunt and uncle were excited to take us to this Chinese restaurant that they had discovered. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food, but this place was good! :)
Oh and guess what??
I bet YOU have never ridden in a black Corvette that your cousin bought from Dr. Phil.... ;)
That was pretty exciting!! ;)

My uncle and Mama have been wanting to see 'The Hunger Games' (the movie) so I finally convinced them that we should go together (just us three).
We went, found out that the showing we were planning on going to was actually an hour later, so just decided to hang out around the theater...
Went out for frozen yogurt ;)
And then my uncle told us that we 'had' to go to the Pro Bass Shop...
I loved the sign above the doorway. haha
It was pretty cool, actually!

You wanna know one of the highlights of the trip?? This picture below sums it up...
I was pretty excited...
My little sister with her mouth full of chocolates :)
Feast your eyes!!
It was $5 per 1/2 pound of these ^ (bulk chocolate) and Mama got a pound, I got half a pound (for people who treat me nice;). Needless to say, the drive back to the house was spent eating... ::clears throat:: ...Ghirardelli chocolates.
My adorable sisters and me. (I took this in the Ghirardelli factory window:)

So there you have it!! This is the closing of Part 1 of my trip to the Golden State. Keep a look-out for the second half!
Gosh, it feels so good to be back in the blogging world! I've missed sharing with all of you:)

Looks at all those chocolates.... 0_O Good grief, if I was there I would've died and gone to heaven! XD
Great pics!
Love the pic of you and your sisters! Your siblings are darling.
Ahhhhh Ghirardelli! Brings back good memories...my youth group went there on a mission trip to San Francisco. Anyway, thanks for reminding me of the awesome trip I went on, and glad you had a good trip as well :-)!

Ah, finally took a spin through the famed Bass Pro Shops eh? That's a must for country folk or outdoorsies period. I, needless to say, am both. :D
Glad you enjoyed it! Next you need to find a Cabelas!
Okay, first the frozen yogurt. I suffered, but survived. And then... let's just say I died as soon as the piles of Ghiradelli showed up on my screen.
By the way, lovely self-portrait, dahling! You're so pretty ;)
xo,
Jess

First, I am VERY jealous that you got to go to the Ghirardelli factory.
Second your brother isn't cute, he is AH-DORABLE!!!

I think California is the best state, but I might be a little biased :). I really don't like the Bass Pro Shop Haha I do hace a fish phobia so that is probably why.
I can't wait to wait to see the rest of your pictures.
And I have been in a corvette my cousin bought from Dr. Phil before. Just kidding, of course :) that is seriously legit.
YUM!! The Ghiradelli milk chocolates with caramel filling are my favorite chocolates EVER!
