Trip to the Golden State, Part 3

I promise!  This is the last batch of photos:)

{Driving out of San Francisco}

 We detoured through the Redwood Forest and stopped a few times to take pictures...

These trees are beyond ginourmous.

We found the last 'rule' a bit amusing ;)

As we were driving away from the 'drive-through tree', there was this random emu in a fenced-off yard across the road. haha  Dad told me to snap a pic of it :)

 This was the Smith River.  The highway we were on ran parallel to it and I asked Mama to just pull over for a second so I could snap a pic!  It's so beautiful there!

 Lydia and me :)

 How WE pass time in the car! ;)

Well, I think that just about wraps up my trip to Cali photos!!  Hope you enjoyed them all and that they weren't too boring or anything! haha

Now back to blogging...

I have been super bad about commenting on posts! I have been keeping up with your Cali posts but haven't taken the time to say that I stopped by and enjoyed seeing all your lovely pictures.

With that said, it looks like you had a fun time on your trip. I've been to San Francisco. Well, it was the outskirts of the city. I did go to the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield. That was so cool! You have some bea-u-tiful sisters! (And by the way, congratulations on you first ride on Knight! How exciting!)
