If you do not know Jesus as your personal LORD and Savior, I would be more than honored to introduce you to Him.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was sent to earth as a baby, born of a virgin, and conceived by the Holy Spirit. He grew up pure and innocent. When He was a man, He performed many miracles and healed people…all in the Name of His Father. When He was thirty-five years old, one of his own disciples betrayed Him and ‘sold’ Him to the Pharisees for thirty pieces of silver. Jesus was crucified and all of men’s sin was put on Him. God could not look at sin, and when He saw that His own Son was covered in it, He poured out all His wrath onto Him. BUT…God had ordained this. After the Fall of Eden, God made a Way for us to come back to Him. We are born sinful human beings, but God loves us – His creation – so much, that He sent His Son – His ONLY Son – to die for our sins. WE are the ones who should pay – with our lives! – for all the sins that we commit every, single day. But instead of each of us dying for each of our sins, Jesus took the punishment for ALL of our sins. There was only ONE death that redeemed us ALL. And that was the death of Jesus Christ. He suffered pain…He suffered wrath from His Father…He suffered from never having felt the dirtiness of sin and suddenly feeling every and all of man’s sin on His pure heart…He hung from a cross – what is referred to as a thousand deaths. EVERY sin was paid for on that awful day…so no, you’re not ‘too sinful’ or ‘too evil’ or ‘too bad’ to be saved by His grace. All you must do is ask God to forgive you of your sins…and ask Him to take full control of your life. Lay it down before Him.
Some people give a ‘special prayer’ to pray for when you do this. I don’t believe that there is a SPECIFIC way to pray and ask God into your life. I believe that you must pray what’s in your heart. Don’t be afraid of stumbling…He’s there to catch you. And yes, that is ALL you must do to be saved… ‘believe in the LORD Jesus Christ and you SHALL BE SAVED.’
And the best news is…
God forgave you when He poured His wrath on His Son.
